Confirmation and payment

In order for us to confirm your booking we require a pre paid deposit of the total rent. Your booking is only confirmed when we have received the deposit and we send you the confirmation by email.

Please pay the rest of the amount in cash when you arrive at your accommodation. There are no credit card machines. If you need and receipt of your account please let us know one day before so when can send a print of your bill to the hosts of your accommodation.

You are required to provide the damage deposit or hand over your passport upon arrival which will be refunded or returned at your departure after the owner has inspected the accommodation for any damage.

Cancellation

Please note deposits are non re-fundable. Cancellation of less than 72 hours before your arrival we bill you 100% of the accommodation rent plus your deposit. Cancellation 2 to 14 days beforehand we bill 50% of the rent. Cancellations longer than 14 days before arrival we keep the deposit.

If you change the number of guests: less guests, you pay the same amount, if you come with extra guests, you pay more on arrival.

Arrival

You will be asked to notify us at least one week beforehand about your arrival time, when it changes considerably please contact the owner by phone. Please print out a your confirmation email it has the specific contact information and directions of the accommodation on it.

At arrival the owner will ask for money or your passport as a security deposit. The amount of the deposit can be different per apartment depending on size and quality of your accommodation.

During your stay

We expect you to have a great time in Amsterdam. We ask you to behave properly in the accommodation you rented. Amsterdam historic houses are nice but can be less sound proof than modern houses please consider your neighbors and don't make to much noise when you are in and around the house. After 10 pm be silent in the house parties can be done in lot's of places in Amsterdam but not in our accommodations. Please be silent when you return late at night.

We expect you to keep the house in clean order, take care of your apartment as if you owned it.

Departure

When you leave the owner will inspect the house, after he or she has concluded everything is clean in good order and nothing has been broken or stained he will give you back you damage deposit or passport.

You don't have to thoroughly clean the apartment but we expect you to keep the apartment clean and in good order. You have to wash the dishes, but the owner cleans the rooms, does the vacuum cleaning and laundry.

Don’t Forget To

* Empty all drawers.
* Pack everything that you brought with you to the apartment.
